In the last couple of years, Hot Stove, Cool Music had visitors: George Webb, Pearl Jam's road manager, and Paul Barrere, legendary guitarist and leader of Little Feat. It was mentioned to each that because the event sells out so quickly that perhaps we should move it to a larger venue.

Both Webb and Barrere advised against it. They felt that the event is unique, with a roadhouse ambience that is rock and roll. Neither was there this January, but this one was the best yet.

The primary reason isn't the musicians, although they have been phenomenal, both in terms of their musicianship and the time they graciously donate. It is you, everyone who attends, whose energy, enthusiasm and passion make HSCM such a great night for all of us. It is you whose generosity allowed us to raise close to $100,000 for people who desperately need our help.
I am very lucky to have been associated with HSCM these years. I can't wait for the summer event at Fenway, and there will always be a specal place in my heart for the fire of my favorite night of the winter at The Paradise.

Thank you very much.
